We’re always glad to hear from passionate educators and community members who share our love of nature-based, experiential learning.
Cedar Grove is a small, not-for-profit school set on an organic farm in Prince Edward County. Our teachers and staff work closely together, with small classes, a strong sense of community, and daily life woven into the land: the forest, the garden, and the animals we care for.
We look for people who bring warmth, curiosity, and a genuine respect for childhood to their work, whether that’s in the classroom, in the garden, or supporting our families and community from behind the scenes. Experience with nature-based or experiential education is welcome but not required; what matters most is a willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow alongside our students.
We accept resumes and expressions of interest on an ongoing basis, even when a specific position isn’t posted. Send us your resume and a short note about what draws you to Cedar Grove, and we’ll be in touch if there’s a fit.
Looking to share a specialty skill such as French, music, visual arts, carpentry, knitting and handwork, or outdoor and wilderness skills, rather than a full-time role? Visit our Faculty & Staff page to learn more about joining as a specialty teacher.
